It is pertinent that players and goalies attend their sessions to ensure proper evaluation of each player and goalie. U18 division covers 2007, 2008 and 2009 born players. Please keep in mind that players may rank differently this year than they have in the past due to U18 covering three years. Depending on the players returning to the Zone from city-wide, we anticipate we will have enough players for 4 teams.

 

As a reminder, U18 B and C are non-contact. Once the A team(s) is/are filled, the next grouping of players will become U18 B players and the same for U18 C. As in the past, the Wild zone may possibly need to send goalies/players to other zones or received players from other zones to create combined zone teams. 

 

 

The groupings will be posted once the city-wide draft has been completed and players are released back to the Wild Zone which will be around September 20th. Please plan to be available during the tryout times. The try-outs are all scrimmage based at the U18 level. The players will receive their jersey at the first tryout skate and keep it until the end of the tryout skate for A and the same for B/C. Players will be placed on balanced teams (balancing positions and birth years) for tryouts. Players trying out for A that are not drafted to the team(s) will be required to attend the B/C tryouts where new balanced groups will be made.
