U18 B/C Tryout

October 1 – 9:15-10:15 pm in Aberdeen

October 3 – 6:45-7:45 pm at Agriplace

October 4 – 6:45-7:45 pm at ACT

Please see the tryout teams below.  Note – players will only skate on 2 of the 3 date/ times. Please arrive early on the first skate to pick up your jersey.  You will keep the jersey for both skates. After the last skate is over, players can place their tryout jerseys in the bins provided.

To improve process for the U18 B/C tryouts, please take note of the following and ensure that your player is aware:

• Face offs will occur at the beginning of each period only
• Much like the rules of 3 on 3, if a goalie covers the puck, or if a goal is scored, the referee will blow the whistle, and the goalie will move the puck to a corner of the ice and the game will continue
• If a penalty occurs, a penalty shot will ensue, and the game will continue from there
• In a tryout where there are 3 goalies present, the timing will go as follows, with the goalies rotating in a clockwise fashion:
  • 5 min warm up
  • Period #1 – 16 min
  • 2 min warm up
  • Period #2 – 16 min
  • 2 min warm up
  • Period #3 – 16 min
• In a tryout where there are 4 goalies, the timing will goa s follows:
  • 5 min warm up
  • Period # 1 – 24 min with a buzzer after 12 min for the goalies to switch ends
  • 5 min warm up
  • Period #2 – 24 min with a buzzer after 12 min for the goalies to switch end

• Score clock volunteers will be used to buzz shifts every 1:00 -1:30 minutes

U18 B/C Draft will be held October 6​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
