Information for the 2024-25 season

Saturday, September 28 9:15AM - 10:15AM; Schroh Rink
Sunday, September 29; 12:45PM - 1:45PM; ACT Rink
- This year, the B/C tryouts will consist of three evaluated scrimmage games. Players are broken down into two teams for the scrimmages.
- Players will retain their jersey for all scrimmage games and leave on the bench after their last scrimmage on Sunday.
- Please be at the rink on Friday at least 1/2 hour before the ice time to ensure you are signed in.
- All league fees must be paid prior to being allowed to scrimmage.
We currently have 36 skaters and 1 goalie trying out for B; therefore, 18 skaters and 1 goalie will be selected to the B team by the Coach. The remaining 18 players will be placed on the C team and a goalie will be brought in from another zone.
Note:
As everyone can see we have capped out players for both teams. 18 Skaters and 2 Goalies is SMHA’s max per team. I have looked into some options to potentially field smaller teams as well as to locate an additional goalie for the Wild. I have contacted other U15 Coordinators in the other Zones. The Aces Coordinator would be willing to have 3 Defensemen in exchange for 1 goalie. We are asking our Wild U15 B/C group if any D men are interested in making the move to the Aces zone for this seaosn. This is strictly VOLUNTEER only.We will not make anyone move as we have the sufficient players for rosters. Please reach out to me if you are interested as Aces tryouts start tomorrow.
The draft for both teams will take place on the evening of September 30, 2024.
