A coach excerpt from the nomination:

Colleen has been managing for several years in the Wild hockey zone. One could say she is just doing what she signed up for -- But I disagree. The title Manager means more to Colleen. It means she is truly involved in her child’s sport. It means she is at the rink at every possible opportunity to ensure there are no issues. Colleen goes above and beyond by having a team Instagram and taking live game photos (of all players). This in itself is a lot of work. Where she features players, makes game announcements, highlights team successes and ensures the followers are aware of the team even if it might be a light spot in the schedule. Colleen makes it so I can concentrate on the players. This allows me as a Coach more time to focus on player development and relationships.

Parent except: As a parent of a child who loves to play hockey, I am extremely grateful to our team manager. Colleen Dauvin has volunteered in this position for years and deserves to be recognized.

Our year was successful because of all the time and effort it took Colleen to keep the rest of us organized.  Communication on TeamLinkt was constant so there was no excuse for us parents to know our roles for upcoming games.
